QUALIFICATION OVERVIEW


The Emergency Response and Evacuation Coordinator Skills Programme equips learners with the knowledge and

practical skills required to coordinate workplace emergency preparedness, emergency response activities and evacuation

procedures. The programme focuses on ensuring that organisations are prepared to respond effectively to emergencies

such as fires, hazardous incidents, medical emergencies, natural disasters and other workplace crises. Learners develop

the ability to coordinate emergency teams, implement emergency procedures and support the safe evacuation of

personnel.


This programme is ideal for supervisors, managers, Occupational Health and Safety Representatives, Fire Marshals, Safety Officers, Emergency Coordinators and individuals responsible for workplace emergency planning and response activities. The programme enables learners to contribute to organisational resilience while ensuring compliance with Occupational Health and Safety legislation and emergency preparedness requirements.
