QUALIFICATION OVERVIEW


The Intermediate Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Compliance Ensurer Skills Programme equips learners with the

knowledge and practical skills required to support and monitor workplace compliance with Occupational Health and

Safety legislation. The programme builds on foundational OHS knowledge and focuses on identifying legal liabilities,

applying compliance requirements, promoting safe work practices and assisting organisations in maintaining legally

compliant workplaces. It is designed for employees, supervisors and safety personnel who play an active role in workplace health and safety management.


This programme is ideal for supervisors, team leaders, OHS representatives, compliance coordinators and employees

who are responsible for implementing and monitoring workplace health and safety requirements. Learners develop a

practical understanding of legal obligations and compliance processes that contribute to safer and more productive

working environments.
